Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, has denied making himself unavailable for Nigeria’s Olympic team.
Samson Siasia included the 27-year-old in his preliminary squad of 35 players for the Games, but there have been rumours that Ighalo may opt out of the competition.

“No! No!! No!!! That’s just a rumour,” Ighalo told The Cable.
“Which player in the world won’t want to be at the Olympics?

“I have said it several times that it is one of my dreams to play at the Olympics.

“I never said I won’t be there and there’s no issue concerning my availability for the games.

“I wish the Olympics were now, now, now. I wish to play in it right away.”
