EPL: Why Chelsea failed to beat Arsenal – Eden Hazard
Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard has revealed why his club did not beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday Premier League clash.
Hector Bellerin fired in a late equalizer as Arsenal fought back to draw 2-2 with Chelsea.
Hazard blamed his side’s profligacy for their failure to beat the Gunners.
The 26-year-old spoke to Sky Sports.
Asked whether the outcome of the match was fair, he said: “Maybe we should score more goals, we missed a lot of chances.
“I think Chelsea should win this game because of the chances we missed.”
The Belgium International, however, praised Arsenal’s goalkeeper, Petr Cech for keeping the visitors at bay.
“Yeah, I think the last shot should be a goal. Just before that Alvaro missed the chance, Petr [Cech] did a good performance today.
“I think Petr is a great goalkeeper, it’s always hard to score against him,” Hazard said.
