Veteran Yoruba movies actor, Ola Omonitan, popularly known as Ajimajasan, is dead.
He reportedly died at the age of 80 in the early hours of Thursday after a brief illness.
Ajimajasan, also known as Baba No Regret, had earlier been admitted at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State some weeks back.
He was discovered to be suffering from an enlarged heart, spinal cord problem and prostate cancer, which he had been operated for before this time.
It was gathered that the family was then advised by the doctors in charge to take him home and be treating him from there.
He was reportedly discharged from the hospital on Monday morning but gave up the ghost on Thursday.
It will be recalled that the late Ajimajasan lost his mother, Oluwakorede Omonitan, last year at the age of 107.
