Think Before You Curse Your Country

Published

Your General Overseers used church money to build schools that many members can’t afford. Your struggling parents sent you to a federal or government-owned universities to become somebody in life.

With less than N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira), you’ll become anything in Nigeria, be it doctor, engineer, lawyer, accountant and what have you.

If we leave the fate of our education to our daddy G.Os, 95% of us will be semi-literate. You open your dirty stinking mouth to insult a country that gave you the basics.

I thank God for the education I received here. Nigeria is not where it’s supposed to be, but we will make progress, I believe in this country.

If you have the opportunity to travel abroad and hustle, please go, but don’t curse the country.

The likes of former finance minister, Kemi Adeosun, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Godfrey Onyema, Doctor Chikwe Ihekweazu were all from the same abroad you’re going to. If they had cursed the country like the way you did, they won’t be here.

It’s within your own right to feel aggrieved if you felt short-changed as a citizen of this country, but don’t curse your source!

Don’t allow people who can’t help you in future gaslight you into cursing this country.

It’s our home and you will one day come back to this country to invest.

Same Nigerians are the ones that will still patronize you.

You travel abroad to send home useless and used kitchen utensils, dead cars and all sort of garbage, same Nigerians are the ones buying them. Are Canadians and Americans sending garbages to their country from abroad?

You have not advised your fellow citizens who reproduce like dogs and pigs with little or no income. You compare Cambridge to University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, how much do they pay at Cambridge?

OAU tuition fee is less than N20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira) per session, that can’t afford “@Bashola_Balogun cigar…”

Think well before you curse this land. It won’t be fertile for you when you curse your country!

When former president Olusegun Obasanjo aka OBJ, President Muhammadu Buhari, the late Odimegwu Ojukwu and others were joining the military, your father was always cooling off at Bobby Benson Club in Ikorodu Road, Lagos in the 70s, you’ll then blame them for your parents’ inability to change your destiny.

We can hold our leaders accountable, it’s within your right. Don’t let chalatans like Omoyele Sowore, Deji Adeyanju and others use you as tools to destroy this nation, while they pocket so much from international organizations.

There is no shame if you join the All Progressives Congress (APC) or the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), go there and effect changes.

Aisha Yesufu has refused to join a political party, but she doesn’t want anybody to be in power, isn’t that funny?

These same ruling class will continue if we the youths can’t take charge!

Nigeria is bigger than Buhari, he will leave and we will all continue to be Nigerians!
