One Year After: TB Joshua’s Wife Remembers Husband “I Didn’t Choose Him, He Chose Me, But I Loved Him Till Death Did Us Apart”

The wife of the late founder of Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN ), Mrs Evelyn Joshua has revealed the memorable moments she shared with her husband, saying that they were times to reflect on always.

Joshua, who said her husband was unique, revealed that he is greatly missed having departed the world one year ago in June, 2021, saying that his memories would live with her forever.

Evelyn Joshua, who has since become the leader of the church, said that she shared wonderful moments with the late prophet, while she also learnt many things, which she has not forgotten, from him.

“I leant from my husband that life is not bed of roses and I learnt patience and absolute trust in God from him; I learnt tolerance, perseverance, understanding, and forgiveness,” she said l.

Mrs Joshua made these revelations at the one year remembrance of her late husband tagged “1st Year Celebration of Prophet T.B Joshua; Celebrating the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua, ” at the church’s headquarters in Ikotun, Egbe Area of Lagos.

Speaking on the interesting moments she shared with her husband, she added: “The TB Joshua that I know, married and the father of my three daughters was a man of prayer and that was what led me to him. “I didn’t choose my husband , he chose me but I loved him until death do us part.

“There was no SCOAN then and we were satisfied but when we started the church, and we were sitting on the mat, I became the first Sunday School teacher in the church and here we are today.

“I have experienced love and I have learnt to bless God in every situation,” she said.

The event, which was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life, brought to life the memories of the late man of God, who was renowned as not just a pastor, but a philanthropy of note.

One of the legacies of the late cleric was a school built for the poor in Pakistan, which was beamed through the screen to the thousands of worshippers and guests at the memorial service.

There was also a reminiscence of the messages and prayers of the late man of God through some of the videos of his church services that were shown to the people at the service.

There was athe unveiling of the T.B Joshua Foundation and Museum, which elicited ovations from the guests and worshippers.

There were drama, songs and testimonies about the life and times of the celebrated man or God.

Ali Baba and another popular comedian directed the service, which was shown live on Emmanuel Television owned by the church.
