Kano Public Service Institute under way in Kano, says Head of Civil Service.

In a fresh bid to uplift the Kano State public service to next level of standard practice, preparation to construct Public Service Institute next year have reach fruitful deliberation.

Kano State Head of Civil Service, Alh Muhammad Auwal Na’iya made the disclosure shortly after appearing before the House committee on Civil Service on Monday to depend the budget figures earmarked to his ministry.

Auwal Na’iya added that the institute is design mainly for training and re-training of the government personnel slated to be in line with the best standard and equipping them with modern techniques of executing public service.

He stressed that Institute is fortunate to be constructed through an intervention as a corporate social responsibility by a Directorate which normally gives credit facilities to executes projects of such nature.

Alh. Na’iya also emphasized that the Institute will have a befitting ICT centre which will be named after Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

According to him an aggregate sum of 500 million Naira have been earmarked for the Construction of the Institute, whereby an estimate sum of 144 million Naira would be expend by the company for the construction of ICT centre and other facilities respectively.
