APC Will Liberate Nigerians –BYA

A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla representing Mushin II last week expressed optimism that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is ready to liberate the Nigerian masses from slavery market.

The lawmaker who was reacting to the defection of some rebel governors into APC in his office noted that the courage of the governors should be commended.

He said, “I am not surprise that those governors have joined the progressives. Our party has genuine people who are ready to better the lots of Nigerians, so the coming together is to save Nigerians from slavery market.”

Ayinla explained that throughout the world, Nigerians are the most prayerful, adding that the latest development as regards merger of new Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and APC was an assurance that the people’s prayers have been answered.

“The prayers in this country are enormous. God is now answering our prayers and I assure you that the emergence of APC will be interest to take care of our people,” he said.

He believes sincerity has come to stay in the country, adding that the era where politicians would loot the state treasury has gone.

The lawmaker said that the Lagos-Ibadan expressway of which huge amount of money has been allocated for its repairs in the past has not been repaired up till today.

He commended the courage of the defecting Governor for coming to a progressive party adding that Nigerians would witness better governance come 2015, when the APC, according to him, would take over power.

He maintained that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is free to contest for any position he wishes as he is a Nigerian just like others.

“Tinubu is free to contest for any position he wishes, he is a true Nigerian and an elder statesman, who has done his beat for the nation,” he stated.

Ayinla however explained that President Jonathan should allow free and fair elections come 2015 to safeguard the future of Nigerians.
