NNPP Chieftain, Ajadi Mourns Ilaro Community Leader, Mabosanyinje …Says She Lived A Life Worthy Of Emulation

A Chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo on Friday visited his home town, Ilaro, Ogun State to pay his last respect to a community leader, Madam Omoyaade Abigael Mabosanyinje who passed on at the age of 125.

Ajadi attended Mabosanyinje’ s burial with his family members and political associates on Friday, September 1, 2023. The woman died on August 7,  2023.
Speaking with journalists during the burial ceremony, Ajadi said that Madam Mabosanyinje, popularly known as Iya Onipako, lived a fulfilled life and left a good legacy behind.
He said that his presence at the funeral with his family members and political associates is  a testimony of his strong tie to the community and his commitment to connect with the people of Ogun State.
Ajadi expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and thanked God for Iya Onipako’s long and meaningful life.
He described the late Community Leader’s life as worthy of celebration, saying that it is also a testament to the resilience and rich cultural heritage of Ilaro people.
“Her life story is an inspiration to us all, and her passing  on is a great loss to our community,” he said.
The burial was witnessed by a large turnout of community members, political supporters, and well-wishers, who came to pay their final respects to the beloved centenarian.
The Senatorial Candidate of Ogun West in the  2023 general election, Barrister Olufemi Aina, while speaking with journalists, said that he is grateful to see Ajadi’s perpetual struggle to maintain standards in democratic governance in 2027.
“I wish you a successful political career and in other endeavors in your life,” Aina said.
 Ajadi’s entourage to the burial comprises his wife, Mrs. Oyindamola Motunrola Ajadi, the NNPP Deputy Governorship Candidate in the 2023 election, Alhaja Shakirat Arowolo; Caretaker Chairman of NNPP, Ogun State, Alhaji Ibrahim Adekunle; South West Publicity Secretary of the NNPP, Hon. Kilamuwaye Badmus; Hon. Funsho Adekunle (Ijebu-Ode constituency), and the Caretaker PRO Ogun State, Omokehinde Olowu.
Other political stalwarts present at the occasion were Semiu Akingbala, Ifo Constitute 2 House of Assembly Candidate; Hon. Biola Sanusi, Ewekoro State Assembly Candidate; Hon. Bagbamsoro Precious, Ogun NNPP State Women Leader; Hon. Afuye Oluwatoyin, NNPP Ogun State Caretaker Secretary and Hon. Oyegbemi Omokehinde, Ogun State Caretaker Youth Leader.
Others were Hon. Taofeek Adegboyega, Ogun State Caretaker Organising Secretary; Hon. Oloyede Risikat, Ogun State NNPP Caretaker Financial Secretary and Hon. Sefiu Musa, NNPP Ogun State Caretaker Treasurer; the 2023 Senatorial candidate Ogun Central, Kehinde Teluwo; the candidates for Ogun State House of Assembly: Hon. Adenaya Fatai (Ogun Waterside).
