Wife Of Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke, Raises Alarm Over Alleged Threats To Her Life

The wife of Super Eagles and Enyimba International goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke, has cried out on social media, alleging threats to her life and that of her children, purportedly linked to her husband’s troubled marriage and relationship with another woman.

In a Facebook post published late Sunday night, Tosin Olorunleke accused her husband of subjecting her and their children to emotional trauma and unsafe living conditions since Nigeria’s Super Eagles returned from the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where they finished as runners-up.

According to her, the rewards of flats, plots of land, and national honours presented to the Eagles by the Federal Government after the tournament only worsened her marital woes.

“My husband moved in with her (the alleged mistress). She pushed him to divorce me and demand DNA of our children. I don’t have a problem with that, but they should just leave me and my children in peace,” she wrote.

Mrs. Olorunleke further alleged that her husband, since becoming financially buoyant after AFCON, has constantly harassed her at home. She claimed that his visits are followed by strange incidents affecting the health of her children.

“Anytime my husband comes home now, I must take my children to hospital the following day. You say you don’t want me again, no issue. But once he comes home, he goes straight to my bedroom, stays briefly, and then lodges in a hotel with his side chick. I don’t know what he comes to do in my bedroom,” she added.

In the post, Tosin alleged that the goalkeeper’s relationship with one Precious Daniel has endangered her life. “I know she has bewitched my husband, and is desperately pushing him to harm me and my children… If anything happens to me and my children, the world should hold Leke Olorunleke and Precious Daniel responsible,” she declared.

The distraught wife also alleged that her husband forcibly broke her bedroom door on Sunday before leaving to stay with the alleged mistress.

As of press time, neither Ojo Olorunleke nor his management has publicly reacted to the allegations. Efforts to reach the goalkeeper for comments were unsuccessful.

The matter has begun generating reactions online, with many calling on family elders, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), and security agencies to intervene to prevent possible tragedy.
