Transcorp Hotels Plc Reports Robust H1 2025 Results, Posts 60% Revenue Growth And N1.02bn Interim Dividend

Transcorp Hotels Plc has posted an impressive financial performance for the first half of 2025, with a 60 percent year-on-year increase in revenue and a 71 percent surge in gross profit. The company, a subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), also announced a total interim dividend of N1.024 billion, translating to N0.10 per 50 kobo ordinary share.
According to the unaudited financial results for the period ended June 30, 2025, Transcorp Hotels recorded N47.57 billion in revenue, up from N29.72 billion in the same period last year. Gross profit climbed to N36.21 billion, a significant rise from the N21.19 billion reported in H1 2024. This strong profit growth resulted in a gross profit margin of 76%, achieved despite macroeconomic challenges, including high inflation and increased operational costs.
The hospitality giant attributed its robust performance to continued execution of its growth strategy, operational efficiency, and expansion of revenue streams. A major highlight of the period was the launch of the Transcorp Centre, a 5,000-seat capacity event venue, now the largest of its kind in Nigeria’s corporate hospitality space.
Commenting on the results, Chairman of Transcorp Hotels Plc, Emmanuel Nnorom, said:
“Transcorp Hotels’ outstanding performance in the first half of 2025 further validates our transformative strategies, with a laser focus on innovation and operational efficiency. It affirms our steadfast dedication to delivering investor returns and signals our profound confidence in Transcorp Hotels’ future growth. Moving forward, we are confident in our ability to consistently raise the bar for the industry, fulfilling our mission to redefine hospitality in Africa.”
Managing Director/CEO, Uzo Oshogwe, added that the company’s performance underscores the strength of its business model and the commitment of its workforce.
“Our exceptional H1 2025 performance reflects our relentless execution of a growth-focused agenda. Building on the foundation of our iconic assets, the Transcorp Hilton Abuja and the new 5,000-seat capacity Transcorp Centre, we are not just leading Nigeria’s hospitality sector, but redefining excellence across Africa,” she said.
Transcorp Hotels Plc is the hospitality arm of Transnational Corporation Plc, a diversified conglomerate with interests in power, energy, and hospitality. The company owns and operates the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, one of Africa’s premier luxury hotels, and runs a growing digital hospitality platform, Aura by Transcorp Hotels.
