President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigeria’s international allies to stand in solidarity with the country as it intensifies efforts to eradicate terrorism and violent extremism.

The President made the appeal in a statement shared on his official X handle, barely 24 hours after reaffirming at a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting his administration’s resolve to crush insurgent threats across the nation.

Tinubu emphasized that national security remains non-negotiable, pledging that his government will “spare no effort and leave no stone unturned” in its mission to eliminate terrorists and criminal networks threatening Nigeria’s peace and stability.

Reflecting on Nigeria’s prolonged battle against terrorism spanning nearly two decades, the President acknowledged the resilience of the Nigerian people and the notable progress achieved in recent years. He vowed that the country would not retreat until the menace is completely defeated.

“We have come a long way in restoring stability to affected regions, and we will continue to confront these threats with courage, strategy, and an unyielding commitment to the rule of law,” Tinubu said.

The President reiterated Nigeria’s position as a dependable global partner, welcoming greater international collaboration in strengthening security, intelligence sharing, and economic resilience.

He also paid heartfelt tribute to the Nigerian Armed Forces and intelligence agencies for their bravery and sacrifices, describing their unity and commitment as the nation’s greatest source of strength.

“Our heroes in uniform embody the courage and hope of this great nation. Their sacrifices remind us that Nigeria’s victory against terror is not only possible but inevitable,” Tinubu stated.
