TINUBU APPOINTS FALEKE RENEWED HOPE AMBASSADOR, DEPUTY SECRETARY FOR PARTY OUTREACH AHEAD OF 2027

In a decisive move to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and consolidate national support ahead of the 2027 general elections, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hon. Abiodun James Faleke as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Secretary for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The appointment, conveyed in a letter dated February 6, 2026, underscores President Tinubu’s confidence in Faleke’s leadership capacity and political experience. The President, who also serves as Leader of the APC, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
According to the letter, Faleke is expected to work closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadorial programme and the party hierarchy, particularly the National Chairman of the APC, to ensure harmony, inclusiveness and strategic coordination across all levels of the party’s mobilisation and engagement architecture.
The President emphasised that the new Deputy Secretary will play a central role in galvanising support for the party’s programmes and policies, promoting key milestones and achievements of the administration, and reinforcing the Renewed Hope message nationwide.
The appointment is also strategically tied to preparations for the 2027 elections. President Tinubu noted that the overarching objective is to ensure that citizens across the country are well-informed, aligned with, and supportive of the APC and its candidates at all levels.
“Preparation is critical and essential to achieving this outcome, and your leadership will be central to guiding this process effectively and strategically,” the President stated in the letter.
Faleke’s new role places him at the heart of the party’s engagement strategy, as the APC intensifies efforts to consolidate national acceptance and expand its political base.
Political observers view the appointment as a clear signal of early, structured preparations within the ruling party — aimed at strengthening cohesion, deepening grassroots outreach, and projecting the achievements of the Tinubu administration under the Renewed Hope agenda.
With this latest move, President Tinubu continues to reposition the APC’s internal mobilisation framework, setting the stage for a robust and coordinated political engagement drive in the years ahead.
