Teacher Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances At King’s College, Lagos

A 48-year-old teacher at King’s College, Lagos, Mr. Ezekiel Akano, was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Saturday evening inside one of the school’s classrooms.

According to police sources, the school’s Vice Principal, Mr. Oguniyi Ayodele, reported the incident to the Lagos State Police Command at approximately 7:40 p.m. He stated that he had been alerted to the presence of Mr. Akano’s lifeless body within the school premises located at No. 3 Catholic Mission Street, Lagos Island.

In response, a team of detectives was immediately deployed to the scene. The area was cordoned off, and investigators conducted a thorough examination. Photographs were taken, and a preliminary inspection revealed no visible signs of violence on the body.

Mr. Akano, a native of Oyo State, was transported to the Lagos Island Hospital, Odan, where he was confirmed dead on arrival by a medical officer. His remains have since been deposited in the hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.

The police have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities have assured the public that all necessary measures are being taken to determine the cause of the teacher’s sudden death.
