Senate Confirms Ex-CDS General Christopher Musa As Defence Minister
The Senate ontoday confirmed General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff, as Nigeria’s new Minister of Defence.
Musa’s confirmation followed a thorough screening during which lawmakers examined his military record and questioned him on national security challenges. Senators expressed satisfaction with his responses and professional background.
In his remarks, Musa pledged unwavering commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s defence architecture and serving the country with diligence.
