“Role Model” Another Multi-Million Naira Flick By Morin Faozeyat Set To Hit Cinema

Still basking in the euphoria of her successful outing in her last home video titled; “Artificial,” Alhaja Morin Faozeyat Olayinka, an Abeokuta, Ogun State-born star actress, is set to hit the Yoruba video movie world with another chat burster tagged; “Role Model.”

Speaking about her latest work on Yoruba drama video to our correspondent recently in Abeokuta, Alhaja Morin, who has released over 18 home videos, said that the new film; “Role Model” is going to be another educative and entertaining Yoruba home video.

She added that as usual she is set to educate and enlighten the audience on the negative and myopic beliefs of the people, which has created and caused a lot of health hazard due to their lack of education.

Speaking further, the veteran actress, who trained under a veteran and popular Yoruba actor, Alhaji Rasaq aka Ara Osan In Lagos in the early 90s shortly after her return to Nigeria, said that she has decided to use her own script adapted for home videos as a means of educating people on the importance of taking care of those that can contribute to the socio-economic development of the nation.

She then appealed to both the state local governments and the Federal Governments to buy into her idea of using drama on videos as a means of public enlightenment among the people

“For example in my home video, “Artificial,” I try to let people realise that there is ability in disability and no man or woman is a waste to his or her generation. After all, once there is life there is hope. I also enlighten the audience on the importance of artificial insemination that is solution to infertility,” she added.

“Role Model” is a story, which deals with the ability to endure and have contentment as a couple and a health hazard associated with female child circumcision.

The film starring the likes of Ebun Olaiya, Ireti Osayemi, Jaiye Kuti and a lot of movie stars, was directed by an talented film director and actor, Lukmon Idowu Adeniji under the management of another experienced actor, Nathaniel Olaleye aka Daddy Folly.

The new flick is going to be another chart buster in the Yoruba home video circle.
