Revealed: Why Gov. Bello Sacked Culture Commissioner
Kogi State governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello has sacked the State commissioner for Culture and tourism Arome Adoji.
Although no reason was given for Adoji’s sack, it was gathered that, he was the immediate past commissioner for sport before he was redeployed to culture and tourism last year.
It was also gathered that, his sack came when his brother Victor Adoji picked the ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Kogi East Senatorial Election.
Arome it gathered was sacked because he acted against the interest of the government candidate during the last primaries. A report on the primaries indicted him and recommended that he and Hon. Nana (SA, Women) and others from the East be sacked.
Hon. Arome has been replaced by Dr Paul Ugbede Ebije.
