REJOINDER: DISCLAIMER AND CLARIFICATION BY THE PBAT FORCE

The attention of THE PBAT FORCE has been drawn to a publication titled “REVEALED: HOW OJELABI HELD LAGOS COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS PROCESS TO RANSOM.”
We find it necessary to issue this rejoinder in the interest of truth, clarity, responsible journalism, and constructive political engagement.

First and foremost, THE PBAT FORCE categorically states that it is NOT aware of, NOT affiliated with and NOT connected to the faceless individuals or anonymous sources behind the said publication.

At no time did THE PBAT FORCE author, sponsor, endorse, or brief any individual, group, or media platform to issue such a narrative in its name.

THE PBAT FORCE is a structured, disciplined, and responsible support group operating strictly within the ideals and constitution of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and in total alignment with the leadership philosophy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. We do not engage in anonymous publications, blackmail journalism, sensationalism, or the propagation of unverified allegations against party leaders or institutions.

While it is public knowledge that matters relating to the reimbursement of aspirants have been discussed within recognised party structures, THE PBAT FORCE has consistently adopted lawful, consultative, and internal party mechanisms to express concerns—never through media speculation, inflammatory accusations, or external pressure.

For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to clearly place it on record that THE PBAT FORCE has never threatened, vowed to resist, nor sought to obstruct the constitution of local council cabinets. Any attempt to portray THE PBAT FORCE as a pressure group promoting confrontation, blackmail, or destabilisation is false, misleading, and deliberately mischievous.

THE PBAT FORCE remains firmly committed to party unity, internal democracy, due process, and respect for constituted authority at all levels.

We strongly condemn the reckless attempt by Nairaland Online Blog or any other platform to drag the name of THE PBAT FORCE into a publication riddled with anonymous sourcing, speculative claims, and unverified allegations. Such actions are capable of sowing unnecessary discord within the party and misleading the public.

Accordingly, we hereby formally instruct Nairaland Online Blog to ensure strict adherence to factual accuracy, verification from authorised sources, and responsible editorial judgment before publishing reports of this nature that are capable of damaging the reputation, cohesion, and integrity of the party.

Finally, we urge members of the public, party faithful and the media to disregard the said publication as it relates to THE PBAT FORCE and to always seek clarification from recognised representatives of any organisation before attribution.

THE PBAT FORCE remains steadfast in its loyalty to the APC, unwavering in its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; and committed to constructive engagement aimed at strengthening our party and democratic institutions.
