Real Estate Giant Gtext Holdings Eyes Guinness World Record

A Real Estate Firm, Gtext Homes, a subsidiary of Gtext Holdings, has announced plans to host the Largest Real Estate Conference in the World in a Tent on December

Dr Stephen Akintayo, founder, Gtext Holdings and Chairman of SACI Holdings, made the announcement at a joint press briefing in Lagos on Friday.

The real estate boss was joined by senior executives to announce a series of major corporate developments and outline the company’s growth strategy as it enters its second decade in business.

According to him, the event is expected to draw 10,000 physical attendees and more than 100,000 virtual participants.

He said the attempt reflected both the scale of Nigeria’s real estate market and Gtext’s role as an industry leader.

Akintayo noted that the announcements coincided with the 10th anniversary of Gtext Homes and Gtext Land, marking a decade of growth in real estate and investment services.

The milestone is not only a celebration of past achievements, but also a springboard for future expansion into new markets and industries.

“As we enter our second decade, we remain focused on innovation, investor
trust, and building communities that last,” he said.

Speaking on Private Equity leadership,
Akintayo highlighted his expanded role as Chairman of SACI Holdings, a private equity firm that invests across multiple sectors.

He explained that SACI’s investment model directly supports Gtext Holdings recent acquisitions and expansion drive.

“Our private equity structure allows us to identify and grow high-potential businesses.

“These strategic moves are part of a broader vision to deliver value across real estate, finance, and technology,”
he said.

Mr Farouq Usman , the Managing Director, Gvest, a subsidiary of Gtext Holdings, also confirmed the acquisition of a company with a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) license.

He revealed that the acquisition of a Nigerian firm with a SEC license covering fund management, asset management, and private equity services.

According to him, this is a testament to our commitment to regulatory compliance and our vision for a more expansive and trustworthy investment platform.

“We are awaiting SEC approval for a rebrand, which will position the entity as a stronger platform for diversified investments.

“The new license is expected to allow Gtext to broaden its offerings beyond real estate into regulated financial products, creating new opportunities for local and international investors,” he said.

Farouq noted that by combining regulatory expansion, new subsidiaries, global reach, and employee recognition, Gtext Holdings is positioning itself as a diversified group with ambitions that stretched well beyond real estate.

“Our journey has always been about scale and sustainability,” he said..

Mrs Bukola Lukan, the Group Chief Operating Officer, Gtext Holdings, in response to market inquiries, clarified that Gtext USA and Gtext Nigeria operate as separate entities, each governed by its own legal and regulatory frameworks.

According to her, while both share the same vision, the distinction enables Gtext to adapt to specific market conditions in different geographies.

She noted that the strategic separation allowed to better serve the company’s diverse clientele and navigate the specific legal and economic landscapes of each country.

“It ensures localised expertise and optimised services for our investors both in the United States and in Nigeria.”

On his part, Mr Soonie Osuki, the Chief Executive officer, Gtext construction, a new subsidiary of Gtext Holdings said the unit would focus on quality assurance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Osuki noted that Gtext unveiled Gtext Construction, to manage the full construction value chain and to strengthen its control over project delivery.

“It will also bring to life Gtext’s “Green and Smart” estate concepts, aligning with sustainability trends in African real estate.”

The highpoint of the event was honouring of employees loyalty.

The company celebrated its longest-serving staff, recognising their contribution to Gtext’s growth.

Vivian Amaechi, the Group Executive Director for Sales in the South South and South East, acknowledged that staff loyalty and dedication had been the foundation of the company’s success.

According to her, our people are our greatest asset and the gesture reinforced Gtext’s emphasis on workplace culture and long-term employee retention.

“We acknowledge the vital role our team play in building the Gtext and SACI legacy.

“We believe in fostering a culture of long-term commitment and rewarding those who have grown with us,” she said.
