Rally: Kosofe LG Chairman Reaffirms Commitment To Community Development

The Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State, Mr Moyosore Ogunlewe, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining the momentum of development in the area.
Ogunlewe gave the assurance at a mega rally organised by All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders on Wednesday at Emmanuel High Road, Ojota in Lagos State.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ogunlewe outlined his vision for a second term in office at the rally.
“We have achieved significant progress in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and social welfare.
“With your support, we can continue to build on these achievements and take Kosofe to the next level,” he said.
The chairman emphasised the importance of continuity and progress, urging residents to vote for the APC in the July 12 Local Government Elections.
Also, Mr Kehinde Bello, APC Chairman, Kosofe chapter, said that Ogunlewe’s mission centered on sustaining the vision and ambition of  President Bola Tinubu.
He noted the development trajectory and further improvement of the lives of Kosofe residents.
“APC has demonstrated at federal, state, and local levels that we are the party of progress, inclusion, and results.
“President Tinubu’s bold reforms, Gov. Sanwo-Olu’s infrastructure revolution, and our local government’s community-focused development represent a seamless continuum of purposeful governance.
“I urge you all to go out and vote, so that the fire of this vision does not go off,” he said.
Kosofe Community Development Chairman (CDC), Mr Segun Babatunde, said that based on the wealth of experience Ogunlewe displayed in his first term, he deserved to be re-elected.
Babatude noted that the chairman’s developmental plans had better the lives of kosofe residents.
He pledged his continued support to the chairman’s efforts in bringing stakeholders together to find solutions to challenges in the area.
“Go out in large numbers and vote for APC, considering the quality of work done by our representatives.
“We are hopeful that the next administration will be more blessed in terms of funds; so, there is no excuse for them not to perform.
“We are optimistic, we will win,” he said.
In his remarks, the leader, Ndi Igbo, Kosofe chapter, Mr Kelvin Nwaoha, said that Ogunlewe had done well in his first term in office.
“Bringing him back the second time will enable him to do more for the people of Kosofe,” Nwaoha said.
He urged party members and residents to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner during the election.
NAN reports that the Lagos State council poll is billed for July 12.
