PYI Team Shanana Congratulates Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu On His Well-Deserved Time Recognition Award
The Progressive Youth Initiative, Team Shanana . heartily congratulates the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on his recent TIME Recognition Award, a global acknowledgment of visionary leadership, excellence in governance, and transformative public service.
This prestigious international recognition is not only a personal honour to Mr. Governor but also a proud moment for the good people of Lagos State. It affirms Lagos’ growing stature as Africa’s foremost sub-national economy and validates the Governor’s consistent commitment to purposeful leadership, innovation, and people-centered governance.

Since assuming office, Governor Sanwo-Olu has demonstrated uncommon administrative capacity, strategic foresight, and resilience in the face of economic, social, and global challenges. – Massive Infrastructure Development: Completion and expansion of critical road networks, bridges, and urban regeneration projects that improve mobility and ease of doing business across Lagos.
