Progressive Network for Tinubu Vows to Secure 80% Votes for President Tinubu in 2027

The Progressive Network for Tinubu (PNT), a support group, has pledged to mobilize extensive grassroots support across Ondo State to ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu secures over 80% of the votes in the 2027 presidential election.

The group, led by its Director General, Pastor Olumide Obadele, announced its mission during a well-attended press conference in Akure, emphasizing its commitment to galvanizing support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Pastor Obadele clarified that the group’s activities are not a campaign effort, as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has yet to open the window for electioneering. Instead, PNT is focused on building a robust support base in preparation for the 2027 polls.

“As a group rooted in party loyalty and respect for leadership, we have formally notified the Ondo State leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by State Chairman Engr. Ade Adetimehin, and the office of the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, about our operations,” Obadele stated.

The group’s unwavering support for President Tinubu stems from his transformative leadership since assuming office 27 months ago.

He praised Tinubu’s bold policy decisions, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the floating of the naira, as evidence of a visionary leader with a clear roadmap for Nigeria’s prosperity.

“President Tinubu is not a trial-and-error leader; he knows his onions. In just over two years, he has set Nigeria on a path to the prosperous future we have long envisioned,” he said.

To broaden its appeal, PNT has adopted an inclusive approach, welcoming members from other political parties and non-partisan individuals who share a strong belief in Tinubu’s re-election.

This strategy is reflected in the appointment of Comrade Alfred Akinuli, the Action Alliance governorship candidate in the 2024 Ondo State election and the party’s current chairman, as the Deputy Director General of PNT.

Notably, the support group enjoys strategic support from the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

As the 2027 elections draw closer, the Progressive Network for Tinubu is poised to play a pivotal role in rallying support for the president, leveraging its grassroots network to ensure a resounding victory in Ondo State and beyond.
