He is well known as a man of God, whose prophecies have always come to pass. Primate Elijah Ayodele (JP) usually comes to the rescue to show directions about major events in the country through his prophecies anytime the opportunity presents itself.
The Founder/Spiritual Head of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Lagos is never tired of looking into the crystal ball to tell Nigerians and the world about what each year has in stock; he predicted the change of election dates, the fire outbreak at the popular Balogun Market in Lagos and also the release of the Aljazeera journalists.
In this recent interview with the press during his birthday, Primate Ayodele speaks about the occurrences of the year 2015.
Below are his latest prophecies:

If President Jonathan forces himself back to office, he will be frustrated and may not finish his term.
Democracy will be frustrated and there will be more of terrorism.
If they removed INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega it will be difficult to have election on the new date. Jonathan should conduct a viable election.
The INEC chairman will disappoint many people. If Jonathan is not careful enough, he might lose the seat.
Even if the Presidential candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari gets to power, there will still be corruption; in fact it will be worse.
If APC fields Ambode, they should forget Lagos.
APC will lose some states likewise PDP.

Primate Ayodele claimed that though he is not as rich as some pastors with private jets and refineries, he has touched many lives and institutions. He admonished the General Pastors Adeboye and David Oyedepo amongst others for not telling the politicians who seek their spiritual help the truth about the plight of Nigerians.
“I will be frank, these front-line pastors- Adeboye, Oyedepo, name them, PFN, CAN, have they not disappointed the Nigerian masses now? Jonathan goes to Adeboye, what’s the other man’s name, the one around here, I don’t know his name… you may know them. Politicians have corrupted all church leaders. They are not saying the truth, Adeboye, Oyedepo and other big pastors are not saying the truth. We know that the economy is bad, things are not going right. But they should have the courage to face them; for the first time let us be bold enough to tell them ‘what you are doing is bad.” Tell them change from bad to good. They said Lagos is moving, what is moving in Lagos? Lagos is just there? Nothing is moving in Lagos. Both the PDP and the APC have destroyed this country. Pastors who are to talk are part of the corrupt system, Bishops, Primates, Prophets; everybody is going to answer before God. I’m not here to judge any Pastor but I’m standing on the altar of truth.
Speaking on some his prophecies yet to manifest, Ayodele said, “Prophecies don’t read like news in newspapers. Journalists should not have a biased mind towards the prophecy of a man of God or the white garment churches. In 2007, when they picked Yar’Adua, I was the first prophet in the whole nation to say Yar’ Adua will not finish his term. I also insisted that I saw a South -South person that will be the President of this nation, that was before Yar’dua was picked and when Yar’dua died and Jonathan came in, no journalist remember or recall those prophesies. The good side of it is that when you give journalists the book of prophecies, they will report it from their own angle. All prophecies from God will come to past. We are not in a political gathering; the word of God will come to past, even if it is going to take 100 years. I will encourage you to do more researches. Don’t judge prophets when their prophecies are yet to come to past. Don’t have a biased mind towards prophecies.
He recalled: “I said they would be shifting the election date. In September, I prophesied Jega would disappoint Nigerians. Have we not witnessed that disappointment to Nigerians now? Has any journalist referred to it? I will only advise that you do more research on your job. I will never teach you your job but don’t look for the negative.
Speaking further on the pastor and politicians relationship, Ayodele insisted that all clerics, including him who has opened doors for politicians are not transparent enough. Pastors, he said should ask politicians the source of their wealth, especially their thanksgiving gift to the church.
“Any pastor that has eaten from the politician is corrupt including myself, is corrupt.. So what do you want to tell me now? All of us are corrupt, including me. Because the politicians come with the stolen money to your church, they will kneel down and you will pray for them and when they are going, they will say this is for your thanksgiving, you take the money. Did you ask them if this is a stolen money? But we all clap, so that is just it. Everybody will have questions to answer before God Almighty. Go around the street, feel free to investigate me but what I’m saying is that Pastors are part of the corrupt system.
While he advised fellow clerics to be bold, he singled out the General Overseer of the World of Life Bible Church and the President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of corruption.
“Pastors should be bold. These pastors-Adeboye, Oyedepo, don’t you see what’s going on in the country? They are pastors to governors, senators, President, all of them. Before you pray for somebody, you screen the person, and then come out to say the truth. Pastors are scared to say the truth because they are not bold. They have bought their conscience; the Holy Spirit in them has been bought over. Oritsejafor is the Number One corrupt Man of God, quote me. Ayo leads the so called group of Christian criminals. Ayo is Number One Corrupt Christian leader, Ayo , they said is the leader of CAN, what is CAN? My own definition of CAN is you know the empty can you throw away after you have drank your juice. Empty people.”

He speaks more in this interview session
How do you feel being a year older today?
Well I celebrate my birthday every day. This is the time to show appreciation to God. I use a time like this for sober reflection; a time you impact in the life of those around you and also in the society. This year, we went to different schools and various items like shoes, bags, socks, set of computers and cash donation were distributed to them which the government ought to do to promote the country and society, but they have failed to do so. We also visited the offices of the Nigeria Police Force, the VIO’s, LASTMA and also the FRSC and we gave them support.

As a man of God, what is your take on the N6bn allegedly collected by some pastors to support President Jonathan’s reelection bid?
I do not know anything about the N6b you are saying. What I know is that, the present President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, does not have the qualities of being a CAN leader. All I know is that some pastors, bishops and even prophets, are corrupt.

So, what is the way out of corruption?
Well, left to me, anyone who cannot perform well after 300 days in office should vacate the seat for another person who has something to offer. Pastors no longer speak the truth. They have so much interest in money. I’m not criticizing anyone, but God has the final judgment.

You said pastors and other men of God are corrupt. Where do you get the fund to run your church and also your charitable acts?
Well, it is God and I have always learnt to be independent and being industrious has really helped me a lot.

For the sake of those who have been reading your prophecies and could not locate the church, why not organize a revival where people can meet with you and hear more of these prophecies?
We are working towards that. We will let you know, when the time comes.

With all your prophecies, are you not afraid of death or of being attacked?
Death! I do not see it as anything because it is a debt which we all owe and will pay back at the appointed time.
