Oloyede Will Perform Better If Re-elected As Oshodi/Isolo LG Chairman – CPS, Gbenga Soloki

The Chief Press Secretary to Hon. Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede Chairman of Oshodi/Isolo Local Government, Comrade Gbenga Soloki, has appealed to residents of the council area to support his principal’s bid for a second term under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking in an interview on Wednesday , Soloki described Hon. Al-Maroof Oloyede as a committed public servant whose developmental strides have significantly transformed the local government,as he is a student of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu school of good governance and has consistently praised the president for the increase in Federal Allocation,which has been responsible for the wonderful projects he has been executing

“Oshodi/Isolo cannot afford to lose the services of a hardworking and visionary leader,he started well on a progressive note and four years after,he has delivered beyond the expectations of the people,” he said.

Highlighting key achievements of the current administration, Soloki said, “Hon. Al-Maroof has constructed over 53 roads and more than 60 boreholes across the various wards.

“He has also initiated youth vocational training programs and empowered women and traders.

“Through the ‘Operation Light Up Oshodi’ initiative, he introduced solar-powered lighting systems, which have improved security and night-time visibility.”

Soloki further noted that peace and security have returned to Oshodi under Al-Maroof’s leadership, adding that he has successfully “changed the narrative of Oshodi” for good.

Looking ahead, the media aide stated that if given another opportunity, Hon. Al-Maroof intends to expand his social intervention programs, particularly focusing on the youth, women, and other vulnerable groups.

He also revealed that additional support would be provided for education, including the introduction of bursary awards for students.

“In the health sector, plans are underway to construct and equip new Primary Health Care Centres (PHCs) within the local government.

“The time has come for the people of Oshodi/Isolo to continue supporting a man who is genuinely committed to their welfare and determined to deliver even greater dividends of democracy,” Soloki added.
