An appeal has gone to the government at all levels to empower the stakeholders in building construction including town planners and sanitary inspectors to enforce compliance in every built scheme with effective sensitisation on the essence of hygiene protocols to keep the environment clean and safe.

The Founder and Spiritual Head of Shafaudeen in Islam Worldwide, Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke stated this during a lecture he delivered during the commissioning of a 16-room Comfort House for Shafaudeen National Headquarters to kick-start the proposed Minaret University.

The event was also witnessed by the executive members of the Radio and Television Workers Union (RATTAWU), who were celebrating their week to thank God for the journey of another year.

While speaking about the similarity between tRATTAWU and Shafaudeen, Professor Olagoke said that both were like siamese twins that cannot do without each other, saying that the two were ordained by the Almighty Allah.

While speaking about the 2023 general elections, Olagoke called on Nigerian leaders to embark on a total restructuring of the country and prayed that the country will not break up as it is being canvassed by some sections of the country.

Chairman of Oyo State chapter of RATTAWU, Comrade Aribatise Adebayo, who led other members of his executive to the event, called on the people to prioritise comfort rooms (toilet) while embarking on building projects.

While thanking God for the opportunity to mark another year in good health, he thanked Olagoke for hosting them and pledged that there will be more robust relationship between his union and Shafaudeen.

While speaking about the current insecurity and other vices in Nigeria, Olagoke stated that the inability of the leaders to follow the Bible and Quran is responsible for the nation’s current crisis.

“It is better to stake one’s life for God’s commandments and God must be allowed to come to our rescue instead of putting our trust in the leaders,” he said.
