Comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile popularly known as SeyiLaw has shared snapshots of the threats his wife received over his political choice in the 2023 General Elections.

Recall Seyi Law was a vehement supporter of President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the build-up to the 2023 presidential election and on several occasions came under attack from Obidients – supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi – infamous for cyber-bullying, intimidation and threatening opposition supporters.

Taking to Twitter, the comedian shared a snapshot of the threats his wife received that conveyed that his daughter was going to be killed because of his political affiliations.

The message reads that the United Kingdom won’t be safe for Seyi Law’s wife and his daughter, claiming the comedian is part of the people destroying Nigeria because he supported a candidate different from theirs

This development didn’t come as a surprise to many Nigerians given many cases in the past where Obidients have been found flagrantly abusing, assaulting and threatening individual of opposing political views.

They, however, condemned the act, while calling on the comedian to report the threat to the right authority.
