But let’s pause.

In his short time as Governor, Okpebholo has woven a different story —one Edo people feel daily:

• Major roads, long abandoned, now being rebuilt.
• Dilapidated schools being restored.
• Edo Farms revitalized; water systems rescued from collapse.
• Erosion menaces being tamed with urgency.
• Even Edo Line, the state’s ghostly pride, resurrected after a decade of decay.

Passion pulses through these actions.

The people’s embrace of him is not accidental; it is earned.

Academic scores do not translate to wisdom.
Credentials do not equal character.
A leader’s genius lies in recognizing brilliance beyond themselves.

Okpebholo can —and does— summon experts, economists, educators. He listens. He executes. And crucially: he manages Edo’s treasury with prudence.

I would choose a leader with “woeful” WAEC scores but impeccable governance instincts over a PhD holder with zero capacity to govern well. Every. Single. Time.

• Let your heart keep serving Edo as you do—unscripted, unstoppable.
