Nigeria Must Remain United As One Country, No Region Should Attempt To Break Away – Pastor Sunday Iyunade

The General Overseer of Pentecostal Sanctuary Bible Ministries (PSBM) Odo Egbo, Ijebu Ode, Pastor Sunday Dare Iyunade has said that any part of the country that attempts to secede from the nation would do so at its own peril as the Almighty God has never approved of such move.

Pastor Dare Iyunade explained that “God says if any tribe; be it Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa tries to breakaway, their places of abode would become history”.

He added that rather than breaking away from the country, prayers should be intensified for the country to remain united as any thing different would only spell doom for promoters of such idea.

The man of God stated this as part of the prophesy for the country while addressing the press on Thursday over the 25th anniversary of his church and 19th annual convention slated to hold from Sunday March 21 to 28.

Prophet Iyunade said that the 19th annual convention of the church with the theme “The Lord Cometh” is to further create awareness on the second coming of Jesus Christ and get the people more prepared.

He said that all Christians have a role to play in His second coming.

“We need to prepare so that we are not caught unawares. The one who calledus is faithful and He will keep us till His coming. Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus and our being gathered to Him.

“I urge everyone not to be troubled neither in spirit nor by word. Notwithstanding the things happening around the world, God will protect and provide for everyone who faithfully follows Him.

“Like the wise virgin, we must all be prepared bearing adequate oil in our lamps sufficient to keep us glowing and burning until His coming. I pray that none of us shall miss His Second Coming in Jesus name,” he said.

The man of God also said that the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) faces disintegration as its government has continued to reneged on its promise to bring about the desired change that would make life more bearable for the residents of the country.

Prophet Sunday Iyunade lamented the unacceptable level of insecurity in the country saying that the wall of the security had fallen apart and that Nigerians must pray for new strategies “to fight this disturbing trend to evolve.”

He said Nigerians should however not despair as God has turned to this country to cause a turn around saying “God has heard the cry of his people, a new leader will emerge but I don’t know when it will happen, God will remove the enemies of Nigeria for new leadership”.

He emphasised that God has turned to the country, and that solution is on the way.

He said: “As prophesied last year that Nigeria will lose some of her political and religious leaders and those that thought they will determine 2023 may not be part of the game.

“There is revelation that there will be mass exodus (brain drain) among those with potential professionals that will build the nation. The migration will serve as global end time.”

He said that as part of activities marking the 25th anniversary of the church, the church is also donating one collapsible ambulance stretcher and two electronic suction machines to the Ijebu Ode State Hospital, a 3.5KVA generator to the school for the physically challenged, as well as one guitar, trumpet, cartons of soaps, toothbrushes, toothpastes among others to the Correctional Home, Ijebu Ode.

He stated that the Corona pandemic is affecting the growth of the church, and that “these are signs of the end time and we must be conscious and alert. Terrorism and banditry are also affecting the church. The body of Christ must pray.”
