National Youth Alliance Begins Mobilisation Of Nigerian Youths Ahead 2027 General Elections

A massive crowd settled on the ancient city of Ibadan South West Nigeria, where the National Youth Alliance, NYA held another meeting.
This time, 137 Local Governments Coordinators of the South West were given the mantle of leadership in the zone ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Inside the hall were representatives of youth groups, politicians, drawn from across party divides with a single theme; to rescue a system, and indeed a country many see as failing. This critical observation was brought to the fore by the Chairman of the occasion, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivor.
Concerns are rife about inclusion of the youths and women in the politics of Nigeria with many, saying that they are significant groups made invisible. This must change according to the NYA and the Youth President.
Aliyu Bin-Abbas, National President, NYA raised concerned about the trail of national advocacy from Kaduna to Abuja To Kano and now Ibadan, and he sent a clear message backed by the keynote speaker and the mother of the day.
The guest speaker was Professor Yemi Farounbi, while the Mother of the Day was Chief (Mrs) Adebola Charity, MFR.
They all agreed that prolonged leadership by older generations has hindered Nigeria’s progress, but that it’s now Youth O’ Clock, according to the mantra of the NYA.
To ensure total youth and women participation in 2027 general elections and to sway outcomes, the NYA has opened up its website and registration portal for the over 150m youths with a target to have 50million registered with PVC’s at hand and with the power to change Nigeria to their desired leadership and establish that it is indeed Youth O’ Clock.
