Motivate Teachers For Effective Performance-Ariyo Olagoke

Government at all levels have been urged to motivate teachers so as to bring out the best in them to train the students for better performances, especially in the area of research that could lead to better inventions for the benefit of the nation.

This hint was dropped by the Proprietor of Shafaudeen Group of Schools, Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke (JP) during the end of session valedictory service held at the school premises recently.

While delivering a lecture titled; “Education for the Knowledge Economy,” Professor Olagoke stated that government and schools’ proprietors must invest heavily in functional education of the children to catch up with the current trend that dwells on global competitiveness and global best practices that will give learners a wider view of the world, where peace and development will lead to positive educational goals.

Earlier in her welcome address, the principal of the school, while calling on the graduands to be good ambassadors of the school wherever they found themselves, thanked Olagoke for creating an enabling environment for the teachers to operate.

She also urged parents to assist the teachers by checking their wards’ school works and ensure that they assist them accordingly.

The chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Kamil Adio Adesope, who hailed the founder of the school for the initiative, advised the teachers to always be patient with the students.
