Micho Ade Set To Celebrate 50 Years On Stage

Renowned juju maestro,
Michael Alaba Adedayo Omoshilade, popularly called Micho Ade will on Saturday, June 5, 2022 celebrate 50 years on stage as juju musician.

The event, scheduled to hold at Felicia Hall, Jogor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan, Oyo State capital will be graced by creme-de-la-creme in the society, including enterprenures and a host of others.

The programme will begin on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 with a lecture, titled: MUSIC AS CATALYST FOR SUSTAINABLE SOCIO-CULTURAL VALUES… to be delivered by Ambassador, Yemi Farounbi.

Oloye Lekan Alabi will be Chairman of the Occasion during the lecture at NUJ Press Center, Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan.

On Thursday, June 2, 2022 there will be a musical concert at CAC, Ile Anu, Akala Express way, New garage, Ibadan.

On Sunday, June 5, 2022, the grand finale will hold at Felicia Hall, Jogor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan by 12 noon.

Otunba Olusola Adewumi and Bimbo Esho are the Chairman and Chairperson of the occasion, while the Father of the Day is Omo’ba Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye (KSA).

Queen Ayo Balogun is the Mother of the Day, as Dr Yinka Ayefele(MON) is the Chief Host.

His imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife and His imperial majesty Oba Dr Mohood Olalekan Balogun

The event will serve as a platform for the launch of Micho Ade Foundation and Music School.

The two projects were to enable the top musician give back to the society in appreciation for a successful career.

While speaking with journalists, Micho Ade expressed joy and gratitude to God for giving him the grace to attain 50 years on stage.

He shared his experience in the music industry, stating that his sojourn into music started after his secondary school education, when he joined Jossey Ayorinde and his Morning Star Band in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti state.

He has over the years continued to promote juju music with his various albums.
