Man Abducted In Ghana, Mysteriously Found In Nigeria

A middle aged man, Saint Ezekiel Kwadwo Kumasah, who was abducted on his way for his mother’s funeral arrangements has been reportedly found in Nigeria.
Ezekiel Kwadwo was abducted in Keta in the Volta region of Ghana, according to information made available to journalists.
Our reporter gathered that his unconscious body was found and rescued at a seashore in Ibadan, Oyo State in the Western region of Nigeria.
Ezekiel Kwadwo was said to be abducted by Unknown Ghanaian Anti-LGBTQ Gunmen because of his alleged involvement in LGBTQ on October 10, 2024.
Information made available to journalists also revealed that Ezekiel Kwadwo is the Chief Executive Officer CEO of Saint Ezekiel Films and promoter of LGBTQ groups in Ghana.
His abductors reportedly extracted information about his involvement in LGBTQ from him, while they used to collect a huge sum of money from his Ghana Commercial bank account before threatening to kill him .
Journalists also gathered that he pleaded with his abductors to save his life, but they reportedly insisted that they must get rid of all LGBTQ promoters in Ghana.
The CEO of Saint Ezekiel Films Ghana and alleged staunch member, promoter and coordinator of Ghana’s LGBTQ group, Saint Ezekiel Kwadwo Kumasah, according to information, was strangled and dumped at a seashore in Ibadan, thinking that he was dead after collecting a ransom from him.
Journalists however, gathered that Ezekiel Kwadwo was lucky to be rescued by a local fisherman who alerted some local security personnel and later contacted the Nigeria Police over the incident on November 3, 2024
When contacted, a police source confirmed the incident, saying that investigation is ongoing to apprehend the abductors.
The source hinted that upon interrogation, Ezekiel Kwadwo confirmed that he was abducted in Ghana and that how he came to Nigeria still remains a mystery to him.
“What I remember last was that I was travelling for my mother’s funeral arrangements in Keta District area of the Volta region of Ghana on October 10, 2024, that was the last place I could remember,” he said.
Our reporter however, spoke with Ezekiel Kwadwo on August 21, 2025 through a telephone call from London, United Kingdom, where he narrated his own side of the story.
It will be recalled that Ghana remains one of the countries of the world where consensual, same sex sexual relations is prohibited .
A bill that seeks to criminalise LGBTQ and intersex identity and allyship in Ghana was introduced in the country’s parliament last year.
The State Department in May 2021 urged the Ghanian Government to protect LGBTQ and intersex rights after police arrested 21 LGBTQ members and activists in the city of HO , Volta region of Ghana of which Saint Ezekiel Kwadwo Kumasah was among the arrested persons.
