“We intend to create an impact in the community not just about fighting.

“As a martial art, we are born with discipline, and as you know everything in life is about discipline if you want to go far.

“You can’t just go to the streets to go and fight because you are a kickboxer, that is why we are creating this event to make sure we have a free crime environment.

“Whatever things you know you are good at, go and feature there. The event is open to everybody, it is open to the general public.

“The admission is free of charge, those that are qualified will be brought in the grand finale,” she said.

The President of Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria, Okon Godwin, in an interview, spoke about what Loveth Patra has been doing through kickboxing.

“We profile women and we bring them into the limelight. We are looking for what will benefit them and the society. We want to take them out of crime, out of prostitution, not just the female gender but also the male.

“It has started, it is a trek. As you know, in a trek, you get tired, you rest and you continue again. Loveth is giving back to where she has benefitted from,” he said.

The Vice President of PMAN, Zaaky Azzay, in his goodwill message at the event, congratulated the Nigeria Police for giving Loveth Patra a platform.

He then enjoined the police force to continue to celebrate her.

“What we are doing should not end here, I encourage the Nigeria Police and the Inspector General of Police to do something that will further celebrate Loveth Patra.

“Sports is the only thing that unites us, Nigeria will be a better place if we have leaders that will help the downtrodden.

“She has won twice, so this is worth celebrating,” Zaaki said.

Other distinguished personalities at the event include Sir Chris Akwarandu, Mecfanny, Eno Udo, Ambassador Dr Moji Oyetayo, Zaaki Azzay, Ambassador Emmanuel, Olusesan Olukoya, and others.

The Founder of CMC and the public relations strategist for the event, Ambassador Cornell Uduofia, described the Loveth Patra as a blessing to the nation.

“What we have for Nigeria and Africa is what all of us will be glad to partner with. I thank you all for making this event possible,” Cornell said.
