Lagos Resumes Demolition Of Illegal Shops, Homes On Pedestrian Bridges

The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps has restarted the demolition of shops attached to pedestrian bridges in the state.
According to the Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, the demolition is part of a joint operation with the Office of Drainage Services.
Wahab disclosed this in a video posted on his official X page stating, “In a joint operation, operatives from the Office of Drainage Services and the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps resumed clearance operations in Idumota, removing illegal shops attached to the pedestrian bridge.”
