The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, has paid glowing tribute to former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Peter Godsday Orubebe, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Keyamo described Orubebe as a “passionate believer in his causes,” commending his legacy of public service and leadership in both government and party politics.

“Elder Orubebe is a passionate advocate, a faithful ally, and a consummate politician and statesman,” the Minister said. “As Minister of Niger Delta Affairs under the Jonathan administration, he guided a young ministry with admirable vision, leaving behind a legacy of laudable accomplishments.”

Keyamo, who also once served as Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, noted that Orubebe’s work in that office laid a solid foundation for his successors. “When I became Minister years later in that same Ministry, I could attest to the incredible work he did there,” he added.

Now a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Elder Orubebe was praised by Keyamo for his continued contributions to party leadership at the grassroots and state levels.

“He continues to provide sterling leadership to the party, and we are all grateful for his immense contributions,” the statement read.

Keyamo concluded the tribute by thanking God for Orubebe’s life and wishing him many more years in good health and service.
