A renowned prophet and Founder of African Jerusalem Of All  Christians, Prophet Adebare Owoseeni aka Baba Solution, has declared that lack of proper monitoring has been the reason Nigerians lost confidence in politicians, especially those in power.
Prophet Adebare stated this during an interview to commemorate the remembrance of June 12 election, which was adjudged as the most credible election in the country, which was won by the late Chief MKO Abiola.
The clergy stated that the country has been bad before President Tinubu got into power and called for a positive  attitudinal change by Nigerians if truly they want the country to progress.
He noted that Nigeria will continue to have wrong leaders as long as politicians get to power fraudulently and urged President Tinubu to urgently work on food sufficiency, security, education and exorbitant taxes paid on imported goods.
He also stated that the President should work on the resuscitation of moribund company’s and ensure that Nigerian students are allowed to learn trade in higher institutions of learning to reduce the quest for white collar jobs.
Prophet Owoseeni also called on the Federal Government to regulate the religious institutions, saying that some of them are out for selfish interest and urged religious leaders to establish farms instead of schools if truly they want food sufficiency.
“I thought we are lazy and unable to produce farm products, but it became clearer that lack of security forced so many farmers out of the farms, which led to food shortage in the  country,” he said.
The cleric also advised President Tinubu to control the porous borders of the country to curb illegal immigrants from entering the country, while saying that prices of goods should be controlled to alleviate the sufferings of the masses.
Owoseeni also advised Nigerians to be law abiding and report any illegal activities in their communities to the appropriate authority.
While speaking on Local Government Autonomy, the cleric stated that all tiers of government should  be allowed  to function without any hindrance.
