IPAC Condemns Murder of APC Chieftain in Osun

The Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, in South West, Hon. Wale Adebayo has condemned the mindless killing of a leader of All Progressives Congress, APC leader, Mr Tunde Ejoka in Ijebu- jesha by suspected political thugs.

Ejoka was killed in his residence in Ijebu-Jesa, headquarters of Ori-Ade Local Government area of the State.

In a message personally signed by the Zonal Chairman of the council, Hon. Wale Adebayo, on Thursday in Akure, Ondo State capital, he described the murder as outrageous and barbaric.

“The killing is despicable. It is man’s humanity against man and we can only appeal to the security agencies to up their game and do the needful”, Adebayo said .

The council called on stakeholders, including the Independent National Electoral Commission, security and Nigerians at large to eschew thuggery and violence during this general election.

“We urge the federal government to put in place measures to have free, fair, credible and peaceful elections”

“While urging members of the public to be vigilant and report suspicious movements of strangers around them to security agencies”
