Glamour As Opeyemi Fatola, Siblings Give Mother Befitting Burial

It was all fun and celebration, when a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Notary Public and Real Estate Broker in the United States of America, Hon. Samson Opeyemi Fatola gathered political icons, business moguls to give his mother, Chief Mrs Cecelia Atinuke Fatola a befitting burial.

The final burial of Chief Mrs Cecelia Atinuke Fatola started on Thursday April 27, 2023 with Christian Wake keep at her residence, No. 6, Bolarinwa Street, Ajeigbe, Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State with the opening prayer by Sunday Adun, while sermon was handled by Canon Osobanjo.

The following day, Friday, April 28, 2023, corpse left Teju Specialist Hospital to Ebenezer African Church, Anfani, off Ring Road, Ibadan for church service.

In his sermon, Canon Olubanwo said “All what you have on this earth cannot go with you to heaven. It’s we on earth that look at the properties, but God looks into your hearts not the physical things.”

He continued that Mama Cecelia Atinuke Fatola lived a worthy life and served God throughout her lifetime.

Thereafter, thanksgiving service was held and they all left for New Covenant Church Machplah Memorial Park & Gardens, Esarun, Ologuneru, Eruwa Road, Ido Local Government, Oyo State to perform earth to earth, dust to dust and ashes to ashes, which was done by the vicar of Ebenezer African Church.

From the cemetery, children, friends and families left for World Lilies Events Center for reception.

At the event center, it was amazing seeing who is who in the society, cream de la creme in the society, people from abroad, political icons and a host of others celebrating the transition into glory of the matriach of the family.

Children, family members and dignitaries at the occasion lauded Mama Cecilia Atinuke Fatola as a good Christian, a mother who loved her children, when she was alive and prayed for her eternal rest.

After, the children were called one by one to the dancing floor, while guests went massively to honour them.

The vote of thanks was said by the first child of the deceased, Hon. Samson Opeyemi Fatola, founder of Fortune Heights Groups of School.

The event was packaged by High Flyers Entertainment, covered by Apreel 1 Events Tv.

Dignitaries at the event included people from outside the country, top political icons, businessmen and women, High Chiefs in Ibadanland, heavy and mighty men in the entertainment industry and a host of others.

Music was supplied by popular and famous fuji musician, son of the late Apala Musician, Haruna Ishola, Wasiu and his fuji music band.
