General Elections: Residents Of Southern Ijaw LGA Urged To Vote For APC

Residents of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State have been urged to vote for the all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general elections.

The call was made by the APC Central Working Committee in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area during a consultative meeting held at Opolo Yenagoa Bayelsa State on Tuesday January 17, 2023.

The meeting was to galvanize support for the candidates of APC in the forthcoming general elections in the Southern Ijaw LGA, Bayelsa State and in the nation at large.

According to a statement issued by the Working Committee, ably led by ESV Kesiye Frank-Oputu, critical stakeholders of the LGA were urged to throw their massive support for the candidates of the APC from Presidency to State Assemblies level.

It was revealed in the statement, which was signed by a member of the Media and Publicity Directorate of the APC-PCC, Engr. Dauseighe Bowei, that Frank-Oputu further stated that the members should work collectively as one big family to ensure that they deliver “the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, by the grace of God, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; and the National Assembly Candidates, Chief Tiwei Timipa Orunimighe; for Senate and Hon. Preye Influence Oseke; for Federal House of Representatives; on the 25th February, 2023; and all our house of Assembly Candidates as well, the likes of Hon. Christian Ebiede; Constituency I, Hon. Andy Zighedina; Constituency II, Hon. (Barr) Timi Woko; Constituency III, Chief Dr. (Hon) Selekeaye Victor Ben; Constituency IV on the 11th of March 2023.”
