FRSC Cross River: ZCO Tasks New Sector Commander On Professionalism, Effective Service Delivery

The Zonal Commanding Officer RS6 HQ Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Henry Benamaisia, has congratulated the new Sector Commander Corps Commander (CC), Innocent Etuk, on his new appointment and tasked him to change the negative image and narratives of the corps in Cross River State operations.
The ZCO while addressing the personnel during the working visit to the command emphasised on
comportment of the officers on the road and incivility as it affects public perception of the corps in Cross River.
According to him, extortion of motorists and indiscipline in RS 6.2 must be stopped.
“Zonal surveillance has been activated to checkmate the excesses of patrol operatives, enforcement of fake Number Plate Violation
Critical and integrity offence enforcement should be intensified.
The zonal commanding officer also tasked the sector Commander on staff discipline in and out of the command saying it was vital and imperative to the agency.
Benamaisia charged the officers on adequate checking on mental health and staff health conditions.
He urged the sector officers to ensure control and sanity order during patrol and on general duties.
“We appeal to all patrolable officers and Marshal to have a change of attitude towards corrupt tendencies and sign an undertaking of good conduct and zero tolerance on corruption.
The Sector Commander, while given his remarks assured the ZCO of improved operational activities in the command.
Etuk added that he would stem the tide of Road Traffic Crashes (RTC) in Cross River State.
He also enjoined the personnel to work with other security agencies and relevant stakeholders to ensure reduction in road fatalities and injuries in the state.
“There will be zero tolerance on crashes and corruption in the state as I enjoy the personnel to work with other agencies curtail traffic crashes in the state,” he said.
