Even $1bn Can’t Pull Me Into Politics” — Oyedepo Declares At Shiloh 2025

Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has declared that no amount of money — not even one billion dollars — could persuade him to venture into partisan politics.

The outspoken cleric made the emphatic statement while ministering during the impartation service at the church’s annual convocation, Shiloh 2025, holding at the Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.

Oyedepo stressed that politics is completely outside his divine assignment, urging members of the church to remain focused on their God-given callings rather than being distracted by worldly pursuits.

“In 2015, I warned the church that trouble was coming. Didn’t trouble come?” he said. “Partisan politics is off my calling. If you give me $1 billion to join politics, I won’t, because it’s off my course.”

The Bishop described the present times as urgent and critical, noting that the world is desperately in need of divine intervention. Citing Romans 8:19, he said the world is “groaning in darkness” and awaiting the manifestation of the children of God.

According to him, an end-time army of believers is emerging to provide solutions to national and global crises, in the mould of biblical figures such as Joseph and Daniel.

“The army of God is about to emerge to proffer solutions to national crises in the order of Joseph and Daniel. It is the day of what eyes have not seen or ears heard,” he declared.

Oyedepo concluded by reaffirming that true influence comes from alignment with one’s calling, insisting that believers can positively shape their communities and nations by remaining steadfast in their divine purpose.

Shiloh 2025, which began on December 9, will conclude on December 14, 2025, drawing thousands of worshippers for teachings, impartation, and spiritual fellowship.
