Eid-el-Fitr: Adejare Bello Greets Tinubu, Urges National Unity

The immediate past Nigerian Ambassador to Mexico and Pro-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Adejare Bello, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a goodwill message, Bello extended greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and beyond, commending their devotion, sacrifice and discipline during the holy month.

He noted that the period of Ramadan reflects values of patience, charity, unity and self-restraint, urging Nigerians to sustain these virtues beyond the festivities.

Bello called on citizens to embrace peace, love, tolerance and national cohesion, stressing that these ideals remain critical to the country’s stability and progress.
He also offered prayers for the President, asking for strength, wisdom and divine guidance as he continues to lead the nation.

The former envoy further prayed for peace, unity and prosperity across the country.
Bello, who hails from Osun State, extended special prayers to the people of the state and residents of Ede, seeking continued harmony, growth and development in the area.
He also prayed for the Timi of Ede, asking for wisdom, long life and a peaceful reign.

He wished Muslims a joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration, expressing hope that the season would usher in renewed blessings and hope for the nation.
