A socio-political group under the banner of Akure Youth Renaissance has thrown its weight behind Mrs. Tomisin Edu-Falade, founder of the TEF Foundation, declaring her eminently qualified to represent Akure North/South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

In a statement issued on Monday in Akure, the Ondo State capital, the group’s leader, Olagoke Adeolu, highlighted Mrs. Edu-Falade’s sterling credentials, leadership acumen, and commitment to grassroots development as key reasons for their endorsement.

“Mrs. Falade’s impressive track record and philanthropic initiatives make her a strong candidate capable of addressing the socio-economic challenges facing our constituency,” Adeolu said. “She embodies the kind of visionary and responsive leadership that Akure North/South needs at this critical time.”

The group emphasized that Mrs. Edu-Falade’s candidacy presents an opportunity to reset the tone of representation in the constituency, noting that since 1999, Akure South has largely dominated the seat.

“It is time the people of Akure North are given the opportunity to have a voice at that level. Mrs. Edu-Falade brings not just equity to the table, but competence, grassroots connection, and a deep sense of public service,” Adeolu added.

Describing her as a bridge between the people and purposeful governance, the group expressed optimism that her emergence would usher in positive change—especially in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic revitalization.

The Akure Youth Renaissance group called on party delegates and stakeholders to weigh her background, exposure, and capacity as the party’s primaries approach, expressing confidence that she would represent the constituency with passion and integrity.

“She has the empathy, network, and tenacity to bring meaningful development to our communities. We believe she will work tirelessly to uplift the lives of her constituents,” the statement concluded.
