Easter: Kalejaiye Urges Nigerians To Imbibe Acts Of Kindness, Love

The traditional ruler of Otumara community, Ojo-oniyun, Apapa road and its environs, High Chief Kehinde Kalejaiye has called Nigerians to imbibe acts of kindness and love one another to build a country where peace and tranquility reign supreme.

In his congratulatory message to Christians to mark 2025 Easter, he emphasised that Christ’s resurrection offers forgiveness for our sins, salvation, hope, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life to believers.

He however urged Christians in Nigeria and across the globe to reflect on the essence of the season and demonstrate the sacrifice, love, patience and good neighbourliness as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

He also encouraged leaders and government at all levels to be proactive to the needs of the masses, prioritise the well-being of Nigerians and focus on good governance and delivery of their electoral promises.
He said, “As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I urge Christians to reflect on the essence and lessons of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

As Christians, our hearts must be filled with the love of Christ for our neighbours and of victory that brings unity, peace and strength in the face of adversity.
We must be intentional in acts of kindness and charity to others especially the less-privileged and the vulnerable.
And to government at all levels, for the sake of the love of God and His son, Jesus Christ endeavour to recommit to the enduring values of sacrifice, compassion, unity and service to humanity.
I want to encourage our leaders to be proactive and prioritise the well-being of Nigerians and focus on good governance and the delivery of their electoral promises. God loves the honest and promise keepers.
In the spirit of Easter, we must ensure we foster mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. May this season be one of harmony and goodwill for all Nigerians.”
