DSS Witness: Mamu Received N50m From Kaduna Train Attack Ransom

A prosecution witness from the Department of State Services (DSS) has testified in court that alleged terror negotiator, Tukur Mamu, collected ?50 million from Shugaba, the leader of the gang responsible for the 2022 Abuja–Kaduna train attack and the kidnapping of its passengers.
Mamu is standing trial on several terr%rism-related charges, including receiving ransom payments from families of abducted victims of the March 28, 2022 attack, dealing in terrorist funds, obstructing the negotiation efforts led by the Chief of Defence Staff, and exchanging voice notes with Boko Haram’s spokesperson.
