Double Tragedy Hits Senator Abba Moro’s Family As Son And Grandson Die In Separate Accidents

Tragedy has befallen the family of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, following the heartbreaking loss of his son and grandson in separate motor accidents within 48 hours.

Findings revealed that the lawmaker’s son, Victor Moro, who recently returned from Turkey after completing his studies, had come home to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme. Sadly, his life was cut short in a fatal accident along the Mararaba axis of Nasarawa State—barely a day after the burial of his father’s grandson.

According to reports, Victor was travelling from the family residence to attend to personal engagements when the tragic incident occurred.

The devastating news has thrown Senator Moro’s family and close associates into deep mourning, with many describing the occurrence as an unimaginable double tragedy.

Joining in the grief, former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.

He said:

“To lose a grandson, and then, only days later, a son, is a pain no family should ever have to bear.
This double bereavement is a deeply difficult moment for the Senate Minority Leader, Distinguished Senator Abba Moro, his wife, and their family.
