Divine Mandate Team Expresses Gratitude to NFTV, Tribune Chapels for Warm Reception

The Divine Mandate Team has expressed heartfelt appreciation to members of the NUJ NFTV Chapel and the Nigerian Tribune Chapel for the warm reception and robust engagement received during their campaign visit on Monday.
The team described the interactions as inspiring, professional and a strong demonstration of solidarity ahead of the 2025 Oyo NUJ Council election.
In a statement written and signed by Dupe Fehintola, on behalf of the Divine Mandate Team, shortly after today’s visit to the two chapels, the team commended the NFTV Chapel for hosting them to what they called an “exceptionally cordial and productive interface.”
“Our profound appreciation goes to the NUJ NFTV Chapel for the warm reception and engaging interaction.
“Your openness, your questions and your professionalism set a very high standard for this electioneering process,” the statement read.
The Divine Mandate Team also extended gratitude to the management and staff of the Nigerian Tribune, describing them as “truly wonderful and exemplary in their hospitality.”
“I wish to specially acknowledge the Managing Director of Tribune for the remarkable interface and hospitality,” the statement continued. “You made my day, sir, and I am sincerely grateful,” he said.
Special commendations were also directed at the General Manager of New Frontiers Television, whom the team praised for his kindness, encouragement and unwavering support.
“My heartfelt thanks go to the General Manager of NFTV. You are wonderful, sir. Thank you for your kindness and support,” he said.
The statement further acknowledged the unwavering support of key media figures, including respected editor, Alhaji Debo Abdullahi, media professional, Mr. Akin Durodola, and former Chief Press Secretary to the Oyo State Governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa.
“E se p?? gbaa,” the statement added, echoing the memorable words of the late Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala.
The Divine Mandate Team emphasized that taking its NUJ campaign message to the NFTV and Tribune Chapels marked an important milestone in ensuring transparency, engagement and broad consultations within the journalism community.
“We deeply appreciate the opportunity to take our NUJ election campaign to the NFTV and Tribune Chapels today.
“Thank you for the solidarity, the encouragement and the professional atmosphere you provided. It further strengthens our resolve to serve with fairness, openness and dedication,” the team said.
