DG Of Campaign Organisation Of Governorship Candidate Of NNPP In Oyo State Dumps Party For PDP

The Director General of the Campaign team of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. Akintunde Suara has resigned his membership of the party and the position of the Director General of Engr Popoola Olukayode Joshua campaign committee and threw his weight behind Governor Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Oyo State Governorship Election.

According to a release issued and signed by Hon. Suara on his behalf and released by his Personal Assistant, Comrade Cosmas Olalekan Oni to the press, Hon. Suara attributed his resignation to the call by his teeming supporters in his Constituency i Ibadan North Local Government Council of Oyo State.

Hon Suara, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, opined that the laudable achievements recorded so far by Governor Makinde also endeared him to support his second term in office.

He however thanked the NNPP, Elders and Engr Olukayode Popoola Joshua for given him the opportunity to serve.

Hon. Tunde Suara then called on the people of the state to troop out in large number and cast their votes for Governor Seyi Makinde and all the candidates of the PDP for the State House of Assembly candidates on March 18, 2023.
