Correspondents Chapel of Oyo NUJ Condoles Its Secretary, Oladapo, Over Wife’s Demise
The Correspondents Chapel of the Oyo State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has commiserated with the Oyo State Council Secretary of the union, Comrade Olusola Oladapo, on the sudden passage of his wife, Mrs. Toyin Oladapo.
In a statement signed by the Chapel’s Chairman, Comrade Adebayo Raji and Secretary, Comrade Dare Adeogodiran on Sunday, May 25, 2025, the Chapel expressed a deep shock over the sudden demise of Mrs Oladapo.
According to the statement, The Chapel wish to state that however, as mortals, we cannot query God over the loss, but take solace in the Holy book, which says; “The Lord gives and the Lord taketh.”
The statement also noted that the Chapel averred that the death of Mrs Oladapo came at a time that she will be more needed by her husband, children and by extension, the entire family, adding that she will be missed dearly.
It also pointed out that the Chapel stands with Comrade Olusola Oladapo in this moment of his grief and pray that the demise of his wife will not attract multiple death to the family.
“The Chapel therefore prays that God Almighty, who knows better, will grant Mrs Oladapo eternal rest and give the family that fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the statement added.
