Chelsea Go Again For John Stone
John Stones
Chelsea may have already had a bid for Everton’s John Stones rejected, but Jose Mourinho remains confident that he can get a deal done for the England international before the end of the summer transfer window.
It’s said that Mourinho doesn’t plan on using him as an immediate starter and instead wants him to partner Kurt Zouma in the future, which could obviously be a problem as Stones wants regular football ahead of Euro 2016.
Regardless though Mourinho remains confident. Stones might want to remain at Goodison Park if he genuinely believes leaving will hamper his chances of making Roy Hodgson’s squad for next year, although the opportunity on the table from Chelsea is one that isn’t easily turned down.
