A senior Nigerian-born policeman based in Toronto, Canada has promised to help train the Nigerian Police.

Toronto Chief of Police had been approached by a Nigerian bureaucrat to help to train Nigerians in community policing, and he coincidentally recommended a grandfather of community Policing in Canada; Tewogbade Ojo, a retired 35-year-old veteran policeman.

Some Nigerians that were privy to the development were shocked to discover that a star officer of Toronto police was their own son.

Ojo is a Nigerian from Ilesa, and he has been in Canada for almost 50 years.

Those, who know him closely disclosed that Ojo never took a bribe and that he is one of the most honest cops in the world.

“Elder Ojo met with the police big wigs in Abuja. And he promised to train Nigerian police for free.

Yes, for free. Is Nigeria not a great country. When people leave, they become great men and women, and they remember their country periodically for good.

“Let us build Nigeria and not destroy her greatness by our badmouthing and wrong attitudes,” said a concerned Nigerian.
